Fess Up Monday

How much did you write? Where did you submit? Did you sell? Tell, tell, tell.

The Global Exististential Threat Level has been downgraded to GUARDED.

Put your duct tape away.

Today's inspiration, thanks to Winston Churchill:

Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.

Written: a lousy couple hundred words on that short story. But that's less than no words!

Submissions: Submitted to Clarkesworld and was rejected the next day. It was a nice rejection, though, with an invitation to resubmit something else. Then sent it off the next day to Abyss&Apex.

Development: Worldbuilding almost done, thanks to my wonderful crit partners, you know who you are!

Finished Goal Motivation and Conflict for H&h in WIP.

Finished basic revisions to other MS.

No submissions, except to my cat when she demanded Cheetos. How could I refuse?

I'll play. I've written almost 8,000 words this week, on a new book that's romantic suspense, with no paranormal elements.

I've also sent out two follow-up letters, one to an agent, one to an editor. Both have been sitting on my proposals for waaaaayyyy too long.

My RoF rejection came in. What fun!

Wrote about 3000 words to complete the romantic Christmas short story that I'll be submitting to Highland Press.

Been doing lots of crits in prep for my SFF crit group.
