Fess Up Monday!

Accountability breeds success. Or so I'm told. I'm willing to give it a try. So...

Each Monday I'll post a little thought to get us all through the week.

Then we can post our progress, or lack there of, our submissions, waiting angst, rejections and sales in the comments section.

So it's Monday, Specrommers. Fess Up.

And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more.

Progress: 2,000 words on a short story meant to squeeze all the really weird stuff out of a paranormal romance idea.

Waiting: about 6 weeks, full ms w/agent, and about 7 weeks, 2 queries w/agents that I fear have been lost into the Great Query Void of Delayed Disappointment.

Development: In an attempt to vet my ideas before I become in love with them and they are too weird for viability, I'm putting together an evaluation synopsis for 3 new ideas and 2 revisions.

"our sales" your so optimistic ;)

Okay, I'll play.

I have one query lost in never, never land.

Finished and submitted a short story that has already been rejected. Quick rejections are they better? Hmm?

Have one full out to an agent going on five months.

A short story out to ROF for going on 8 weeks.

Not bad I guess.

Oh where, or where do all the queries go?

I'd like to hear them AFTER they get too weird for viability. Sounds like fun to me! :-)
