Fess Up Monday!

Did you write? Did you sell? How many words? Tell, tell tell!

The Global Existential Threat Level remains at ELEVATED.

My personal existential threat level is much, much higher.

This week's inspiration:

Fall seven times, stand up eight. - Japanese proverb

Not the most productive of weeks for me.

Still hacking at the tentacles in love story. Do I keep that really weird scene or not? It's not working the way it is now.

Hell, thy name is revision.

I did more detail work on the scene outline: not much real writing. A lot more of pondering and staring blankly into space.

Today was good, though. I signed a contract with Samhain Publishing for Immortal Protector. That was a cool feeling, and made Monday, my least favorite day, far better than average.

Congrats, Christine! Wonderful news.

That gives us three contracts this month in our little blogosphere.

It's only a matter of time until we Ascend to World Domination.

I got a few things done on revisions for my WIP, but last week was not so stellar on the productivity front. I did, however, manage to kick my FanLit addition in a major way. So the next two weeks should be quite a bit more productive. :-)

Congratulations, Christine! I'm hearing awfully good things about Samhain.
