Fess Up Monday!

Did you write? Did you sell? How many words? Tell, tell tell!

But first, on a day when my personal existential threat level is high, because I haven't been spelling "existential" correctly...

The Global Existential Threat Level remains at GUARDED.

And to assuage my guilt for getting next to nothing done last week, this gentle reminder from Dame Agatha Christie:

We owe most of our great inventions and most of the achievements of genius to idleness – either enforced or voluntary.

Article written for SpecRom about setting goals, talk about driving home the stake of guilt.

Two nice story ideas in my creative journal.

Generally, good intentions about writing....

I rewrote my query letter for Lord of Fire and started work on two chapters to submit to the Avon FanLit contest. I hope to have them ready by Wednesday. As for the query letter, I hope to start querying this week.

Sounds like y'all got good work done!

Got about 5K words written again this week. I have a novel that's really pressing me to get done.

Kudos to everyone who rocked it out this weekend on the word counts.

I was lazy. I did some edits, 100 pages. Lucky me, for some reason, when interrupted by the arrival of pizza, I managed not to save the edits. I blame this on the coming eclipse.
